Around 1245 hours we were dispatched for a tanker to the scene of a working structure fire in the Lumberland fire district (Sullivan County). TA-813 responded and assisted at the scene until being redirected to standby at Lumberland's firehouse along with Westfall Town Ship Fire Department (Pike County) 39 Engine 1. *Photo credit to Westfall FD*

Then, at 1800 hours we were dispatched under automatic response to the Cuddebackville Fire District for an MVA with injuries. Units arrived on scene to find a 2-car MVA with minor injuries. Units assisted with patient care and traffic control before returning to service.

Early this morning around 0345 hours we were called mutual aid to Montague, NJ for our tanker to the scene of a tractor trailer fire on Route 23. Car 3 and Tanker 813 responded and assisted on scene, along with other departments, until just after 0500 hours.

Update on large brush fire: Units were again out to continue extinguishing the Shinhollow road fire today. At around 1430 hours we were called by the NYS Forest rangers for UTVS to respond and assist. We responded with E-814, Ta-813, Brush 815 and Utility 817.

Update on the large brush fire:Multiple units continued to operate again today on Shinhollow road. It’s estimated to now have burned up to 75 acres. Thank you again to all departments that operated again with us today.

Update on the large brush fire:Here are some pictures and video from the large brush fire that started around 1030 hours this morning. All fire units are back in service as of 1930 hours, after nearly a 9 hour fight on this fire.

Busy Tuesday for your Huguenot volunteers. At 1203 hours we were dispatched automatic response to Cuddebackville for wires down and burning on Rt 209. Car 3 and Engine 814 responded. Then at 1322 hours we were again dispatched automatic response to Cuddebackville for a brush fire on Grove street.

Just before 1430 hours we were called automatic response to Cuddebackville for a search for a missing person. We responded with our 6x6 UTV and ATV. Crews split up and searched 2 different areas. Search results were negative as rain was starting to move in, all the crews were pulled out of the woods...

Around 2115 hrs. we were dispatched automatic response to cuddebackville for a van on fire on rte. 209. Cars 1 and 2 arrived on scene and confirmed a working vehicle fire. Engine 814 responded within minutes with the crew going to work and extinguishing the fire.

Just before 19:00 hours, we were dispatched to an MVA on Neversink Drive. Car 2 and Squad 811 responded to find one vehicle rolled over the guard rail with minor injuries, all occupants were out of the vehicle upon arrival.

Around 1600 hours we responded to Route 6 for a large tree and wires down. Due to the fact that both lanes were blocked Rt. 6 was shutdown until O&R Utilities could fix the pole and wires. NYSDOT was called in to clear the tree from the roadway and keep the road shutdown.

At 2115 hours we were dispatched to an MVA on Neversink Dr. Within minutes we were also dispatched to a 3-vehicle MVA on the I84 W off-ramp. Units from Huguenot and Cuddebackville were responding with crews headed to each call.

At 1848 hours we were dispatched to an MVA, car vs. pole in Cuddebackville on Rt 209. 52 Cars 1 & 2, Squad 811/ Fire Police 819 and 10 Car 4, and Rescue 805/ Utility 806 all responded and assisted with traffic control while Cuddebackville service center towed the vehicle.

*First call of the new year*Today at 1320 hours we were dispatched to an MVA in Cuddebackville. 52 Car 2 and Squad 811/ Cuddebackville Rescue 805 responded. 52 Car 2 and Cuddebackville units arrived on scene and held with those units.

Around 2030 hours we were dispatched to a chimney fire on Canal Dr. Units arrived on scene to find an active fire in the chimney which had burned itself out. Units went to work checking for any extension, ventilating the structure, and clearing the chimney out.

Shortly after 1900 hours, the Huguenot Fire Company was dispatched to a car into a house at 139 Neversink Drive. Upon arrival, one patient was found heavily entrapped and the residence was severely structurally compromised.

At 10:40 hrs we were dispatched for an engine to standby in Westbrookville fire departments quarters while they operated at a structure fire in their district. Engine 814 responded along with Car 2 and stood by for approximately 1 hr and then returned to service.

At 11:30 hours we were dispatched to an MVA with unknown injuries on Big Pond Rd. Car 5 and Squad 811 responded along with Cuddebackville Car 2 and Utilities 801 & 806. Units assisted with shutting the road down for the Cuddebackville service center to remove the vehicle.
